Why I chose Pitt
I was initially drawn to the University of Pittsburgh and the IBGP due to its interdisciplinary nature because I was unsure on which area of research I wanted to focus for my PhD. So much ground breaking and exciting research is happening at Pitt and I wanted to be a part of that. I am also a native of southwestern PA, and Pittsburgh is a great place to live and work.
