MVM Retreat Day

Please join us at the University Club for the MVM Program's 13th Annual Retreat Day.

It’s with great pleasure that we announce the two outside invited speakers for MVM Day 2017: 

Dr. Alison Criss, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology at the University of Virgina. Dr. Criss' research investigates the mechanisms by which gonococci survive neutrophils to evade innate immune-mediated clearance. 

Dr. Ileana Cristea, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University. Dr. Cristea’s research interests include using proteomic-genomic approaches to characterize cellular processes that occur during progression of viral infections.

Our student speakers will be: Judy Brown - Dermody Lab, Justin Wendzicki - Chang/Moore Lab, Dillon Kunkle - Bina Lab and Benjamin Treat - Kinchington Lab

Our postdoctoral speakers will be: Dr. Court Freedman - McClane Lab and Dr. Jacqueline Corry - Coyne Lab

We are also pleased to announce that the committee has asked Dr. Lance Thurlow, a Research Assistant Professor from the Richardson Lab, to present as well!
