Microbial Pathogenesis

This course is an introduction to molecular basis of bacterial and parasitic pathogenesis. Topics include microbial physiology and genetics, gene expression, virulence factors, pathogenic strategies of bacterial agents. Lecture format. Foundations of Biomedical Sciences, or an equivalent course (approved by Course Director) is a prerequisite. Spring semesters.
